October 4, 2007 at 5:43 pmCan’t be done without a boat load of scripting. And it would be confusing to the user anyway- most will expect the forward button to go to the next chapter as it does on all DVDs not skip a whole section. 99.99% of regular DVD users will *get* that they need to go back to the chapter index to skip to another section.

October 7, 2007 at 8:18 pmIt’s actually not that hard to do. Set up a chapter mark 15 frames before the end of the track. Set the end jump for that chapter mark to your next track, and the end jump of the previous marker (it may be the entry mark in your case) to the menu. If you press skip, you will jump past that marker’s end command and land on the next track. Disable end jump command on the track and story. You have to also make sure you have a second of black at the tail of your tracks. You can export and encode a second of black, and just stick it on the track.
