An Encore 5.5 project with file size formerly 3.22GB now strangely reads 6.44GB used under “Disc Content”.

It also states there is a new (previously no bit rate issue) high bit rate problem.

We’ve made hundreds of discs from this project and always with room to spare on our single layer 4.7gb discs.

The source files do not appear corrupted.

Has anyone any ideas on what may have cause Encore to read the content as double?

We can no longer make our dvds as there isn’t enough space and the sole bit rate error (it reads one frame is too high – again, never had these issues).

    Thanks in advance.

By “made hundreds of discs from this project,” you make no changes to the project, and keep burning the same build? In my opinion,k there are too many variables to count on Encore not changing something. Build to an iso or folder, and burn from that.

The most likely cause is that you inadvertently changed something.

You could try posting a screenshot of your project and build panels.

If I misunderstand, and you are changing the project in any way, that is a different story…

Thanks for looking into it Stan.
