I am doing my first HD project and could use some direction. I shot in 720/30 AVCHD and have an 80 minute project. I rendered as mpeg2/ac3 and want to put it on standard DVD. When I pull the file into DVDA it reads it at 5.1 GB. Do I need to re-render this at different settings or will DVDA compress it to fit on the standard DVD? I used whatever the default render settings were in Vegas.

    Thank you!!

DVDA has a long history of incorrectly reporting file sizes.
If you’ve checked and know your total file sizes are under the limit, just ignore the warning.
My guess is that DVDA will proceed as normal.
