    DVD players, Letterbox or Anamorphic?

    Hi,

    I’ve just shot a movie in 16:9. Now I want to put it on DVD. But I was wondering if stand alone DVD players change from 16:9 view to Letterbox if it’s connected to a non-widescreen TV.

    yes. Most DVD players are default set to letterbox because most people who buy 16:9 TVs are more interested in taking the time to reset their DVD players to native 16:9 anamorphic.
