DVD- MPEG2 Source
I’m working with DVD’s MPEG2 that were given to me by a client. I am editing a Promo REEL. All footage is on DVD’s that were burned via a computer. I can open the VOB’s in Sony Vegas Pro. (Easy part)
1. What is the best way to edit up to 4 clips from a DVD? We’re talking about 30 secs clips from a 60 to 90 min DVD.
2. I open the DVD in Sony Vegas Pro- Do my edit, then SAVE the project as a Backup with the VEG files. I have over 30 DVD’s to review. Seems that the Back up file is creating copies with a 2 sec header/ Tail, it is becoming a HUGE file. Trying to put the files together so I don’t have to insert 30+ DVD’s the next time I open the project.
– Issue is editing DVD’s, creating a time-line and how to store that time-line efficiently
Any tips to do this efficiently?
Thanks,
T
