    Hey Guys,

I’m working on a DVD. We’re having a problem where when you watch the disk on Apple’s DVD player, the selection area comes up as a white box, before the art for the motion menu kicks in.

So to be clear, it looks like the selection area is coming up as a solid button before the art for the overlay kicks in and the button appears normally.

Anyone know what might be causing that problem?

Are you using a loop point or are you saying the menu takes a little time to start up?

How are you mapping the white on the overlay in the normal state, normally it is set to “0” so it is totally transparent?

Have you burned a disc and tested it on a set top player?

It only does it once at the beginning when the menu is getting rolling.
Not sure about the rest as I’m creating only the art… as far as I know, it just happens on computer DVD players. I think the set-top players are ok.

    Thanks for replying.
