  • DVD menu looks good in preview but not in real life

I use Premiere Pro 2.0, after my movie is ready to burn to DVD I use the template (Wedding) in Premiere to add motion menus. It always looks and works in the preview, but after I burn the DVD, only the menus on the first screen work and I can’t access the menus on page two. So I’ll have 3 motion menus on the first screes of Scene Selection, but the rightward pointing arrow, signifying next page, for some reason doesn’t work, it will only replay the 3rd menu on the first page. Likewise the Main Menu link doesn’t work, so I can never get to the second page of my motion menus. It always links to the 3rd menu on page one and not the next page or main menu icons.

Did you by any chance modify the included menu template? If not, have you tried using another menu template?

No, I haven’t edited or done anything to the templates, and yes, I did try a different template, and the same thing, it looks and behaves as it should in the preview, but when it burns the disk, I can only see the first 3 menus on page 1 and none of the links (next button, main menu link) take me to page 2, they just run menu 3 again, the insertion point that is supposed to let you know what you have selected, will never go off of menu 2 when I point to the next arrow or the main menu link.
