  • DVD for Russian playback?

    Hi All,

I produced and hired my editing company to author a DVD program (non comercial, burned). The client wants to ship/show it in Russia.

I’ve been reading about standalone players that play both NTSC and PAL formats, region codes, etc. and can’t conclude if my DVD will play in Russia or not. Since the DVD is a “non region coded” DVD I think it should work in any standalone player. Correct?

    Please help.

    Thank you,
    Bruce

Yes- most PAL DVD players and TVs are multisystem- meaning they can play NTSC. As long as the region coding is open you should be ok.
