Client wants one DVD with video, some .PDF files, and two sets of menus.

His vision: on a DVD player the video plays, followed by a simple menu which offers to replay the video.

On a computer, the video plays, followed by a different menu which offers access to several .PDF files.

I’m currently authoring on Adobe Encore. I think the only way I can proceed is to have an option on the simple menu for those using a computer, to go to Menu #2 with the links to the .PDF files.

But I also wonder whether I need to encode the video differently for DVD players and computers, interlaced and non-interlaced. Oh, and by the way, it’s a minimal budget.

    Any observations?

Your on the right track, but keep the encoding the same. (interlaced)
