    DVD file to FCP procedure?

    My goal is to include a photo montage already encoded to dvd on a different dvd that will include the bat mitzvah events that I am editing on FCP. Do I need to convert the dvd file VTS_01_1.VOB to something else to incorporate the material on my FCP timeline or can I simply copy it directly to DVD SP as is when I make the new dvd, or what? Tks in advance.

    DVDxDV works well.

    MPEG Streamclip works great too…and it’s free.
