DVD Duplication?
Hi!
The company I work for is about to undertake a new venture in which guests can pay for an exciting adventure. Part of this new service includes a video and DVD for the guests.
I have been tasked with finding a quality product purposed for DVD Duplication and Publishing.
We would be running about 30 DVDs through the machine per day and would need to have and need to have the ability to automate the duper/printer (read: we give it a master, it copies it X number of times and throws a label we specify on to the copies.)
Previously, I have worked with the Rimage DLN5200 and enjoyed it very much. However, at my present position, we are running on Mac’s completely and would rather not purchase a PC just to duplicate DVD’s off of.
So I say all of that to ask this:
Has anyone used a Rimage system with a Mac? Does it work?
Can anyone recommend an automated DVD duplicator that will work with a mac and use Thermal Transfer printing instead of inkjet?
Also, does anyone know the main difference in operation between the Rimage DLN5200 and the DL5200 (other than the fact that one isn’t networkable).

Well, this is an inkjet, but it is working quite well for us. You can also get Taiyo Yuden “Watershield” printable discs.
