DVD duplication
Hi
I have just completed my first dvd showreel in encore. I am getting the dvd
duplicated and have created a dvd master through encore onto dlt tape. However
the place that is doing the duplication have come back saying the dlt tape data
has errors yet when i created the master in encore nothing was reported and it
just seemed to do it fine??? Anyone have any ideas as what may have been the
problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The didn’t give you any feedback as to what was wrong specifically?
You might try and download the trial of Gear Software’s Gear Pro Mastering software. It will allow you to restore the files from the DLT. You won’t be able to do much with the files, but it will give you an idea as it if there are data errors on the tape.Erik
