I have PP 2.0. I try to create a DVD with a timeline of about 70 min. video. As soon as I click on Export/DVD, PP disappears drom the screen. No warnings. What is happening?

No, I have an original CS2 product.
I suspect that I may have a CODEC problem, I visited the Adobe website and got a whole slew of ideas about removing unwanted codecs, but I am not technically proficient at editing the registrey. Is there a way to ensure that the codec I need is fuctioning? Which codec do I need?
    Thx

    Hello Joe,

When you say Premeire Pro disappears down the screen. Do oyu mean it quits with no error messages and you have to re-start the application?

Try restarting Adobe Premeire Pro, while holding down Ctl/Shift to trash preferences. See if this helps, hopefuly it will help you.

What kind of a source file are you using?

Have you tried to “Recreate the Plug-in Cache file” by holding down the Shift key when starting Ppro and holding it till the project selection window appears?
Have you updated your video card drivers lately? if not do so, if you have try rolling back to a previous version
