Any opinons on the best DVD authoring software when coming out of the Media100 suite (1080i or 1080p)?

It seems on the Apple web site you can not buy DVD Studio Pro. You must by the entire final cut pro suite. I am doing my content creation in Media 100. It would seem that paying for an entire new NLE studio just to get DVD authoring is not avery good idea. Do you have a source to get just DVD Studio Pro?

Nope that’s how it is- all or nothing. Sadly I cannot recommend any other authoring program for the Mac. There’s also Adobe Encore but IMHO that has a long way to go before being up to DVDSP’s level- though it does offer Blu-Ray authoring of a sort which DVDSP doesn’t. And besides- just Encore by itself costs more than half as much as Final Cut Studio 2.
