How do I take a Vegas Pro 9e project to my client on DVD without the encryption that prevents them from using the DVD to post it on their website? I was advised to make a CD-data file which they could use to upload, however a 4 minute HD video file is too large to put on a CD disc.
Also, I can not find the H264 option in the rendering option on Vegas.
    Thanks,

    Mims

If you are just trying to give your client a video file that they can post to their web site, render the project using the Sony AVC encoder with the Internet 16:9 HD 30p template. Then just copy the file to a DVD and hand it to them.

Also, I can not find the H264 option in the rendering option on Vegas.

H.264 is AVC. Both the Sony AVC and MainConcept AVC encoders produce H.264 files.

…assuming they can find the Search button. (I guess if they did, I’d have nothing to do… lol) You’re welcome.
