  DVD Authoring Eval

  I am waiting for my CS4 Upgrades to arrive and have been asked to evaluate an additional DVD authoring package, as Encore CS3 torpedoed my last DVD project.

  My questions are:

  1. Are there significant improvements and bug fixes in Encore CS4? I really like Encores capabilities, workflow and integration with the other Adobe products I use, but I could not get past the constant crashes and “out of memory” errors. I read every blog and tried every workaround I could find.

  2. Is there a better alternative to Encore that I should investigate?

  I have a broadcast graphics shop in a small TV network. Our computer set up is as follows:

  HP xw8600 workstations
  Dual Xeon Quad Core 3.0 GHZ Procs
  4 Gigs of Ram (have used and not used the 3 gig switch in boot.ini)
  750 gigs of Sata Drive space
  Nvidia FX 5600 Graphics Card
  Windows XP SP3

  I’d appreciate any help.
