DVD Authoring app for Mac
I use my old Mac with DVD Studio Pro to author DVDs for over 10 years. FCPX to Compressor to DVD Studio Pro. Now I get this message when importing the media into DVD Studio Pro: “PAL assets cannot be imported into NTSC projects.” (The assets are definitely not PAL) After a lot of troubleshooting, I’d rather just start authoring DVDs on my better Mac. Roxio Toast is $90 – I’d rather spend $50 or less. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

What are the specs of your media. If you are making NTSC what specs do you need? (sizes,framerate,codec etc)

it’s not an NTSC problem
I am using NTSC media and making an NTSC DVD like I have in this
work flow for over 10 years. The problem is that DVD Studio Pro is no
longer working properly on an old Mac. I need to reset to factory settings,
which is not working, or get a suggestion for DVD authoring software
like Roxio Toast 19 that works well
to author DVDs on a Mac.
