DVD Arcnitect – Blu-ray issue

No. Create a Blu-ray project from File > New and choose Blu-ray Disc format.

No option for Blu-ray there, hence my Q. is there something wrong with my version.

I did try your steps of File new > Single movie > Bluray that does work …. but still concerning about the points above.

Do you mean you don’t see “Make Blu-ray Disc” on the Toolbar and under File after you tried the steps?

Yes I did notice your previous screengrab.
This is what you should see after you followed the steps.

My screengrab is from DVD AS 5 build 157 (not the latest). Possibly a buggy build or a faulty install, if you don’t get the BD option and a user error is ruled out.

You will not see the Make Bu-ray Disc option in a DVD project. You must first create a Blu-ray project, or change your DVD project to a Blu-ray project. That is the only way to get the Make Blu-ray Disc option because it only appears in Blu-ray projects.

You can also go to the Tools menu in Vegas and create a Blue-ray disk right from Vegas. The caveat here is It won’t have a menu, but it will play as soon as you put it in the Blue-Ray Player.
