there’s something wrong then. Preparing a single movie dvd with compliant video/audio takes less than a minute at my side.
What activity on your machine do you see while preparing? CPU, Disk IO?
Is your disk healthy? (S.M.A.R.T.)
An almost full totally fragmented disc can be a problem too, just as a dying disc which can barely read/write the surface.Best regards
