    Hi Guys,
How do I include an inert window containing animated video on the opening page of a DVD?
I can do it by inserting a video button and animating the thumbnail, but I would like the button (window) to be inert – ie, not take any action if it was clicked on…and it would be great if I didn’t have to have a frame and could blend the edges of the video into my chosen background.
    Many thanks,

I usually create these as my background in Vegas. In other words, in Vegas, drop your DVD background on one track, drop your video on the track above and use Track Motion to create a picture-in-picture. The Sony Border FX can be used to feather the edges so that they blend. Then just render a 20-30 second loop to be used as the DVD menu video.

Great idea John! I just wasn’t thinking laterally enough.
    Thanks so much.
