  • DVD Architect Studio 4.5 – audio problem?

    My fiance is taking a pastry class and has a 30-min video of how to make napoleons that she wants to share with her friends. I’ve never created a dvd so I went to Fry’s and asked which is the most user friendly software to create dvds and was recommended to purchase Sony Movie Studio 9. After a couple of hours of playing with the software, I was able to figure out how to make one using DVD Architect Studio 4.5 that came with Sony Movie Studio 9. At first, it said that it would take about 17 hours to write the clip so I cancelled, then restarted. Then it wrote the clip for 15 minutes.

    File->New->Single Movie->selected my mpg file->Make DVD->Burn

    But the problem is – there is no sound. Has anyone ran into this problem? Can you give advice on how to fix the audio problem? I’ll appreciate any input you may have.

    You have to render a sound track also, using the same filename as your MPG2 file. Go Render->WAV or AC3 (if your program has AC3). WAV will work. JK
