DVD architect question. How do I create a cursor for my main menu?
I have DVD Architect 4. I have created a DVD with 3 different menus. How do I insert a cursor that points to the button I want to click on, instead of just highlighting the button graphic or text with an overlay?
To rephrase that question… Instead of having the buttons just highlight when I use my DVD remote, I want to add a graphic (like a sword) that points at what I want to click on.
Please help.

I read your article, thanks for the link. This is my first time to find any kind of forums for this stuff. It’s great!
My DVD works right now just as you have explained in your example. When I navigate left or right the buttons highlight. What I want them to do is have an object that points to the button when I navigate instead of highlight the button. Do you know how to do that? Or if that is already explained just point it out to me 🙂

You can do that with a highlight mask.

That’s what that article describes. You actually make the “pointer” the button and the “button” is just drawn on as part of the background image.
