Activity Forums VEGAS Pro DVD Architect question: compilation DVD

  • DVD Architect question: compilation DVD

I have created several separate DVDs, each with one very short film. I now want to make one DVD for all the movies, with a menu item for playing each one. Total running time would be less than 30 minutes.

I have been able to do this by starting from scratch and recreating the DVD, using the individual avi files.

But for future reference, I need to know if I could have done it (faster) by using the already prepared separate DVD files for each movie. If so, how?

    Thanks.

If you mean ypu want to remake the DVD from the .vob files, then no, that’s not the way to go.

The best workflow for future re-use (but not re-editing) is to create the separate Mpeg2 and audio files, then archive those.
