    Hi Everyone,

I’m back again. I want to create an easter egg for my DVD. Now ideally what would happen is that the inactive buttons would be transparent, and then you’d select it using the arrow keys, and the highlight would reveal a simple symbol or say even a letter of the alphabet. How would I do this using text mask overlay or image mask overlay options. Keep in mind, the background is not a plain color, it’s a screen shot from the concert. I’d rather not just have the rectangle highlight option.

    Thanks,
    Steven

My easter eggs are fairly primitive, but I make a text-only button, and delete all the text. Position the text where you want the egg be on your menu and you’re done. You could use a mask image to come on when you select the egg, but that would take the fun out of making the viewer search for them.
