I guess I’ll just put my question here at the Sony Vegas forum.

I’m having trouble burning DVDs in my DVD Architect 3.0 and I’m using Sony Vegas Pro 9.
Whenever I burn DVDs this shows up (CD/DVD Operation……….. You can press the Details button for further information) (Cannot complete writing on cd wizard when my dvd ejects). How can I fix this problem? I’m losing money, wasting my DVDs.

I tried burning some DVD-RW in 2.4 speed i think, and only 4 of them were successful and no DVD-R successful.

I’ve searched the internet and found no answer.

    Please help!

Why are you not using DVDA 5.0, which is supplied with Vegas pro 9?

What brand of DVD’s do you use?

Try Taiyo Yuden TYG02. This is what I use and I rarely have burn problems.

Why? Does it matter? ‘Cause I already got the older version installed and I don’t bother to install that one. I’m gonna try it. Thanks!

Because newer versions support newer burners and fix bugs in older versions. If you are having a hardware related problem, the most logical thing is to make sure that you have the latest software to support it. Otherwise you may be chasing old problems that have already been fixed.
