DVD Architect Pro menu question
When I try to Make/Burn a DVD in DVD Architect I get the following message: “Too many buttons on ‘Scenes: Indoor Instruction’ The maximum is 18 for a widescreen assert”. This seems a little odd that DVDA doesn’t support 16:9 on the “scenes” menu.
Is there 1) a way around this OR 2) how can I make just the “scenes” menu page 4:3 and not change the other “menu pages” from 16:9?

I believe it’s trying to tell you that your scene selection menu has too many buttons. Most scene selection menus have 4 – 8 scenes on them. 18 is quite a bit. Just recreate the scene selection menus will less scenes and more menus.

Thanks for your response. I understand what the problem is…was just wondering if there was a work-a-round. This is a training video and the client wants to be able to select each individual scenes and there happens to be 19 scenes…I’m always 1 over the limit…lol

The work-around is to spread the scenes across multiple menus. That’s how Hollywood DVD’s do it.
The DVD specification allows 36 buttons per 4:3 menu, and 18 buttons per 16:9 menu. There is no way to make a single menu 4:3. The whole DVD menu structure must be 4:3 or 16:9.
