I have an issue with DVDA 4.0b that first became apparent to me in version 3. Any DVDs authored with DVDA that has Introductory Media refuse to play on a certain brand of Player/Recorder. The Intro Media will play then the player returns a “navigation error” and spits the disc out. The exact same DVD authored with other software will play perfectly and it will play on all other players. The issue was raised with Sony with V3 and at first they refused to accept there was a problem. Later Sony appeared to acknowledge a problem and gave the impression that it had been fixed with the 4.0b update. This is not the case. I have posted a request to the Sony support people who have not bothered to respond. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has experienced the issue. Thanks

    Hi,

could you tell please, if the “certain brand of Player/Recorder” is an LG topdesk DVD recorder?
One of my fellow uses this device and it did not play my disk at all.
Any other player around here played it well, that’s why we thought of some strange incompatibility…

Well folks, it seems that finally the problem has indeed been corrected with the latest version (4.5) of DVDA. Taken a while but I guess better late than never.
