I downloaded the DVD Architect demo so far I love it im looking for a simpler more stable replacment for Encore. I have been able to figure out pretty much everything I need to do except for one major thing. I can set chapters I can build menus with buttons but for the life of me (and I have read the manual) I cant figure out how to link the chapters to the buttons. Little help please.

    thanks

Typically, you would create a scene selection menu which automatically creates a bunch of links to all chapters which you could then move around to different menus as needed. However, you can still do it the way you did.

Click on the button to select it. Now in the properties on the right, you can set which video and chapter you wish it to point to.

If by “poster frames”, you mean the thumbnail image, click on the thumbnail on the main menu screen and then look in the menu on the right.
Media – Thumbnail Properties – Start Time.
The thumbnail image will be the image that appears at whatever you set the Start Time to.

Another way: Move around the timeline until you find the frame you want to use for a thumbnail. Then, in the Project Overview, right-click the button you want to change and choose Set Thumbnail from View.
