  • DVD Architect Blu-ray not working

    I created a Blu-ray in DVD Architect this morning. I tried it on my PS3 today and I got the menu up, but none of the videos will play. The first video just freezes up the Blu-ray, while if I click on any of the other videos the video highlight will just move back up to the first video.

    I can preview it in DVD Architect and everything seems to work correctly, and when I go to burn the Blu-ray it only gives me the messages that it needs to re-compress the files. I actually created the files through Final Cut’s “Compressor” with the MPEG-2 Program stream settings. Could this be the problem?

    Since Apple doesn’t support Blu-ray… that could be the problem. 😉 I would let DVD Architect recompress the files to be compliant with the Blu-ray spec and see if that works.
