After switching back to Vegas 12 and DVDA 6.0 from Adobe Premiere and Encore, I used the Sony Blu-ray 1920 x 1080-60i 16 Mbps video stream setting to render an AVC file to burn to a BluRay disc. I decided to use this setting instead of the MainConcept BluRay setting. Once finally rendered, I am unable to open/play the AVC file with any program. I have read on previous threads similar problems for other users. Any solution or am I relegated to re-rendering the file with the MainConcept setting?

I cannot recreate this problem. I just render a video as Sony AVC/MVC using the Blu-ray 1920×1080-60i, 16 Mbps video stream and I dropped the AVC file into DVD Architect Pro 6.0 without any problems. This seems to be something unique to your PC. Do you have any codec-paks installed that would interfere with reading AVC files? This works for me.

I have the same issue. My video is around 2.5 hours long and was captured on a Sony TD20 camera. Vegas Pro 12 did not complain at all and rendered the AVC, MVC and AC3 files.
Rendered using the Sony MVC 1280×720 60p codec
    .
I had installed VLC and GOM Player after installing DVD Architect Pro 6. I have since uninstalled both those programs.

Surprisingly I found that if the rendered file was smaller (rendered only a small segment) it loaded perfectly in DVDA Pro 6.

When I load a large (6GB) segment, the video is not displayed correctly in the DVDA 6.0 window (lots of green boxes)….any ideas?
