I’m preparing my project for replication and the replication house has requested a master DVD with the Macrovision security bit etc.

I’m using DVD Architect for authoring and have generated the master files. When I attempt to burn a DVD with the master files (selecting Previously mastered folder) I see a complaint “The folder does not seem to be a valid mastered folder. A valid mastered DVD folder must contain layer subfolders.”

When I look at the directory where the master files have been placed there is a folder named “LAYER_0”.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Did you ever find a resolution to this problem? I’m having the same issue right now and am going crazy trying to figure it out! Called Sony for help but so far we’re all in the “research” stage. I am trying to burn a dual layer so I have LAYER_0 and LAYER_1 – both of which contain data, but still getting the same error message as you had.
