I have both DVD architect and Magix movies on DVD 2005. When you author using Magix, they have lots of templates and add-ins available. I can’t find any of that kind of thing with DVD architect. Am I missing the correct menu button or does it not come with those kind of extras? Are they available elsewhere?

DVD Architect templates can be custom made but it is rather difficult,
DVD Architect 3 now supports Adobe Photoshop Layers file format so the will be a lot easier to produce like the 200 plus menus I create for Adobe Encore
I will be creating menus templates for DVD Architect soon.

It’s quite simple to make whatever motion menu you like within your NLE of choice, then import it and use it as background in DVDa.
I do this all the time and it’s great!
Instread of a still, just be creative in the NLE timeline and make a motion menu that’s say 25-30 seconds long with music, then export as AVI or MPEG. I use Procoder to compress all my AVI into NTSC MPEG2 files then import into DVDa.
This method allows endless choices in your menus!

    Have fun
