DVD-A MPG from Compressor 4
Anybody have the super secret magic mojo settings for a FCPX->Compressor 4->MPEG-2 workflow so that DVD-A Pro does not throw up when creating the VOB with a “Invalid data was encountered when processing an MPEG file” error?
Video looks good in Preview, does not try to re-compress and gets nearly completed before burping and throwing said error.
I’ve tried ‘ReStream’ on the MPEG-2 file as suggested in previous post to remove user data, but the dreaded error persists.
Anyone have a clue if there is any more detail in any DVD-A log file to perhaps shed some insight on what else to hunt?
I’m presently using the latest DVD-A 5.2, but also have access to 6 — just haven’t tried it since I built the menus in 5.2.
Any other mpg->mpg cleanser/fixer suggestions?
Supposedly there was an MPEG2Repair at one time but all the links in cyberspace seem to fail (at least the ones I trust using).Regards,
–Doug
