    Hello all,

Having a little trouble in DVD A getting a PSD file to read right.

I created simple buttons in photoshop – an outlined star. I want that star only to appear as a button only when it is selected.

Any ideas on how to do this? Right now I have two identical starts in a psd as named as button-01 and button -02, but this makes them both appear in DVD-A. I only want the one that is highlighted to appear. The highlight also appears as a square, rather than the start shape.

Anyone have an expamle psd they can email me to show me how to accompliush this?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Dan,
First, I am assuming you are using DVDA v3. Also, for the layered PSD files to work correctly, you need to be on v3.0c.

Having said that, there is a very strict naming convention you must follow when creating the button layers.

You need, at a minimum, button-01-thumbnail and button-01-highlight.

All of this is explained very clearly in the online help for DVDA – Layered Grpahics Files.

    HTH,
    Tom
