DVD 9 Region code error
hi,
I use encore 2.0 for authoring i want to send master in region 5 code.
1. I write image file from encore on hardisk
2. Then i Open image file in “Gear pro mastering” Software for DDP image
3. I create DDP image in “Gear PRO” Layer 0 & layer 1 and i write in two dvd5 as data DVDwhen i send for replication there error shows ” Control data & main
data region code disagree” & ” Layer Break on celll Boundry”please anybody help

hi nitin,
have you set any region-codes on your gear-master-DDP-master?if you´ve created an ISO-disc-image the region-code is region-free by spec, and if you created a specific region-code for the master, they will be different – this is a violation against the DVD-specs.
so the better choice will be to create a DVD-disc-folder instead of creating an ISO and to create the DDP-image from the folder.

In encore 2.0 I have set region code 5 and created a video folders. after that in gear pro I open that dvd folder and write DDP image. Is there any particular setting in gear pro for setting a region code or it should be without any setting?

I don´t know if gearmaster will change any informations from your previous selected region 5, but if not you need to set the same region-code for your DDP, otherwise they will be different and the replication will be refused again, because the header of your DVD will missmatch.cheers
