    Hello!

I don`t know if this is the right place to post this, but I try anyway. Can someone recomend a good program to make labels and cover for dvd. I just read something about the bad effect of using adhesive on dvd`s. What is the alternative?

Buy DVDs with a printable surface and print on them using a CD/DVD printer.

I use Epson R-200. Now it’s an R-210 I think. You can get the Epson printers for around $100 or less and they do a great job.

Make sure you use quality printable surface media though. Don’t get the “cheapies”.

I don’t label any disk anymore with paper. I print all my own directly.

    Hi Morten,

Ed & Allen are right about using printable disc. I’m using an Epson R1800 printer, but you don’t need to go to that expense. The cheaper versions of Epson printers are find from what I hear. The only thing is that you’ll go through ink cartridges pretty fast. So I use my R1800 for pictures and printing CD/DVD’s only and use a cheap HP printer for normal/everyday use. I buy my ink cartridges for my HP at Sam’s club because they have more ink in the cartridge than if you buy them elsewhere. There’s many great printable disc out there. I use Memorex DVD-R’s. They work for me.

    Gook Luck.

If no photos or colors are required, use a Primera Signature thermal printer.
Prints on any DVD (no printable disc required), very good quality and low cost of “ribbon” (instead of ink cartridges) ….. again. great for logos or text.. no colors or photo-images…
