I’m trying to export some 960×720 DVCProHD to wmv from FCP and all is well with F4M using ‘export via QT’ except they play with square pixels on both the PC and Mac.

Both players are up to date. Are there any settings I’m missing in F4M, it’s an up to date HD version.

    Thank you for any help

I have been struggling for a week trying to figure out how to output DVCPROHD footage to a Beta SP tape given the two have different aspect ratios. I have afestival deadline so any help would be VERY helpful!!
    Thanks

Is there a particular reason you want to maintain non-square pixel on the output?

If not then just encode to a 16:9 aspect frame, using square pixels eg 1280×720 or 640×360 etc.
