We shoot a lot of material in using the HVX 200 and DVCPro HD 720p24 and 702p24 PN. What is the best way to downconvert to NTSC 8 or 10-bit uncompressed to get a 29.97 frame rate?

Is using Compressor with the Apple setting of 8-bit uncompressed getting me a true 3:2 pulldown add in when going from 720p24 to 29.97 for a 8-bit uncompressed video. Without having a Kona card to add in the pulldown, does Compressor do the job for broadcast quality?

Also, what about going from 720p60 (59.94 Progressive) to a 480i broadcast quality signal? How does Compressor do with going from Progressive to an Interlaced signal?

OS 10.5.5, Mac Pro 2 x 3 ghz quad-core intel xenon, 9 gb ram, with BM Intensity Pro card
