    Hello,

Here is the situation. I have captured HDCAM footage into my DecklinkHDPro card with the DVCProHD codec. While I capture the footage the image is full frame in my HD monitor. When I play the footage in my sequence it is full frame in the monitor. When the playhead is stopped, the image shrinks to what looks like a 4:3 image size. The images does not shrink in the FCP viewer.

My video playback settings are set at Blackmagic 8 bit 1920X1080, at 59.94i.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    -Bryan

    it’s annoying isn’t it!

i’ve found that turning off overlays and making sure you’re set to image, not image + wireframe can help, but any DVCPro clip with a realtime effect still gets squished until it is rendered

    can this be fixed?

G5 dual 2.5, 2.5 gigs ram, Mac OS X.3.6, FCP 4.5, QT 6.5.2, Decklink HD Pro, Blackmagic 4.7 driver

    Thanks,

I have this problem playing back the raw footage without any effects, disolves, or anything.

I’ll try turning of image + wireframe and see if that helps.

Any ideas from the Blackmagic folks?

    Thanks,

    Bryan
