    Hi-

I’m trying to use the DVCProHD Frame Rate Converter to transfer DVCProHD 59.94 clips to ProRes 24. However, when I go to the tools menu nothing happens when I select the DVCProHD Frame Rate Converter even though it shows up in the menu. I’ve been told that it’s in the Extras folder in my FCS disc but it doesn’t seem to be there. Any ideas?

    I’m running FCP 6.0.5.

    Thanks for all the help.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way.

Is your footage 59.94 or did you shoot 24p with pulldown (720p24 mode on camera, not 24pN).

The FRC converts 59.94 to 29.97 or 23.98…it doesn’t convert to ProRes.
