Hello,
I have decklink extreme pcie on a dualcore 2.3ghz powerpc running osx10.4.4 and fcp 5.0.4. I’m trying some to edit some 1080i50 DVCPROHD clips but I’m not getting and video playback. The settings are correct I think as the clip plays back real-time in the timeline, but all I get on the broadcast monitor are still-frames.Is this format supported, and if so, any ideas on why it isn’t working with me??

I got another funny problem.
When I EXPORT QUICKTIME from my DVCPRO HD 1080i50 timeline, after that I reimport the exported Clip and place on the same timeline, it wouldn’t play!
Check settings and the only difference is the clip size is now 1920×1080 which is wrong and should be 1440×1080.
Checking the clip using Quicktime COMMAND-I show that it is however, 1440×1080! Seems like upgrading to 5.1.4 of FCP cause this error, cause the same project in 5.1.3 was ok when I exported the clip.
Using Decklink Extreme PCIe and Macpro.

Oh, upgrading to Quicktime 7.1.5 solved my problem.

It finally worked but I’m not quite sure what the problem was.
I restarted the computer, created a new project using BMD’s DVCpro HD settup (whcih I’d originally used anyhow) and it worked.
