    Hello,
I have decklink extreme pcie on a dualcore 2.3ghz powerpc running osx10.4.4 and fcp 5.0.4. I’m trying some to edit some 1080i50 DVCPROHD clips but I’m not getting and video playback. The settings are correct I think as the clip plays back real-time in the timeline, but all I get on the broadcast monitor are still-frames.

Is this format supported, and if so, any ideas on why it isn’t working with me??

    Thanx

    I got another funny problem.

When I EXPORT QUICKTIME from my DVCPRO HD 1080i50 timeline, after that I reimport the exported Clip and place on the same timeline, it wouldn’t play!

Check settings and the only difference is the clip size is now 1920×1080 which is wrong and should be 1440×1080.

Checking the clip using Quicktime COMMAND-I show that it is however, 1440×1080! Seems like upgrading to 5.1.4 of FCP cause this error, cause the same project in 5.1.3 was ok when I exported the clip.

Using Decklink Extreme PCIe and Macpro.

Oh, upgrading to Quicktime 7.1.5 solved my problem.

    thanx for your input.
It finally worked but I’m not quite sure what the problem was.
I restarted the computer, created a new project using BMD’s DVCpro HD settup (whcih I’d originally used anyhow) and it worked.
