I received tapes from a re-shoot, and was told that they were DVCPRO50. I digitized them as such (days ago) and brought all the media in. Today, we realized that the original tapes were DVCPRO50, but everything from the most recent shoot was actually DVCPRO25.

So far, we haven’t had any issues, but I would like to know if we’re going to run into any issues later down the road. Has anyone else made this same error?

I don’t think you will run into any problems. Unfortunately DV25 is more compressed than DVCPro50, but I would imagine that capturing it at DVCPro50 is much like when editors transcode to ProRes.
