    I am using final cut 5.0.4 and when i am capturing dvcpro hd footage (1080i 59.94) through my blackmagic capture card or through firewirwe the clip only comes in at 1220 x 1080 instead of 1920 x 1080i. Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks.

    Thats right. You just need to choose the Easy Setup for the footage and it will look normal.
