I’m working on XP, but need to import HD footage compressed with this codec. As yet, there seems to be no way of doing so. Anyone have any suggestions? I have Premiere Pro as well, so could use that as a intermediary. Is anyone else in this boat? Also, to be clear, the codec is also called DV-100.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Avid works with DVCPro HD footage now so there must be a codec on the Windows side.

Have you looked on the Panasonic website for any information on that?

I ran into this issue a little while back while working with DVCPRO50 footage.

The only option I found was to purchase the DVCPRO codec from a site for $325. Instead of buying the codec or using Avid, I simply went to FCP. FCP (or even OS X?) comes with the DVCPRO codec, but Premiere does not.

    Hi Greg,
Try this link: https://www.blackmagic-design.com/support/software/ I’m pretty sure there is a DVCpro codec in this package and it’s free. Hope that helps.
