    Ok, I’m stumped.

We shot a bunch of footage using a panisonic HDX-900 camera, recording directly to firestore fs-100 (v.4.0) in quicktime mode (720p 59.94). The clips copy over and seem to play fine in qt player…albeit the focus looks slightly soft. Then, when dragging them into final cut, I sometimes get an error saying that the media is “not optimized for final cut pro”. It then suggests that I recapture or copy the media using media manager.

When dragging the clips into a timeline, I click “yes” to match the formats, but still see a green preview bar over the footage.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks…

    Ian
