  DVCPRO HD 720p25 Workflow

  Hi Guys,

  We’re in the middle of making a promo video for our creative studio and we’re using the HVX200. Now we planned our workflow thinking that we were going to be able to film in 720p24. Then horrors of horrors we found that the European Model of the HVX200 doesn’t film 24p but 25p! Now sorry if this is something that’s common knowledge and forgive our ignorance, but now we’re thinking “what do we do next?”

  Do we film in 25p using the overcrank and undercrank that we need and edit on a DVCPRO HD 720p25 timeline and then use compressor to convert to 24p? Or do we import all the P2 footage then convert the source material to 24p and then edit on a 720p24 timeline?

  Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
