  DVCPRO 50 – IO output issue

  This appears to be a new issue.

  DVCPRO 50 footage, DV50 FW capture. FCP 4 DV50 720×480 sequence. Output to monitor IO analog, set to NTSC 720×486 betacam. 16×9 project

  When I’m parked on a frame the image sales to fill the full 486 raster. Pressing play causes the image to pop down to the 480 raster. Play – pause – play – pause causes the image to jump from 480 to 486 to 480 …. Now, add a dissolve and the rendered dissolve cause the image to scale to 486 during the transition.

  I do not recall having this problem in the past. How do I lay my show off to Betacam without the transitions scaling the image to the full 486 raster?
