DVCam deck works with 20m FW cable…
Hi,
This question was already discussed, but I just made a test with a 20m FW400 cable between my G4 and my Sony DSR-11, it works great for capture and playback, no drop. But neither my LaCie hard disks and my external dvd burner will mount, though they power up. I know the FW400 4.5m cable limit and we also have a FW repeater cable and a 15ft. FW400 cable that work. I’m just wondering why my deck is working while other devices don’t ?
