September 26, 2006 at 10:44 pmSo we did another test, and we imported it in at 44.1 khz and that is in sync, which shouldn’t be the case because our settings are at 48 khz. Why would these settings be different from one another?

September 27, 2006 at 5:24 pmHi,
I seemed to have solved this issue by changing the user prefs to warn after capture in timecode breaks. Hope this helps other people, and thanks for your help

September 27, 2006 at 8:04 pmI have the same problem with the same deck.
But I only get this problem if I capture without an outpoint set and
the tape is running into the spot where the timecode and the picture fall.
At that point my samplefreq is about 77.598 or something.
The workaround is to capture SDI instead, but who loves workarounds? -

September 28, 2006 at 8:12 pmI agree, the easy solution/setup is supposed to be easy, right??? Well the other solution, while time consuming works nicely is to log all of your clips, and that is a workable solution.
Cheers
