  DV50 .mov footage

  I’ve searched around and tried to find out myself, but let me see if I’ve got this straight:

  DV50 footage that is in a Quicktime wrapper (.mov) cannot be imported into a PC based AVID Adrenaline or any other system for that matter. It will only be accepted in a MAC running Final Cut Pro or maybe a MAC based AVID (do they still make those?). Is this correct?

  I have some DV50 files and have tried to bring them into anything, including AVID and Adobe. I just get the dreaded white screen with audio. Someone suggested the ACE Codec package. I tried it. No change.

  Anyone have a better idea? I’m desperate. Thanks!
